The Drakeford Company was formed by real estate professionals with more than 30 years of experience in residential development, urban housing investment and land assembly brokerage.

The Drakeford Company (TDC) is a real estate services firm that was organized in 2001. We specialize in residential development (attached and detached) and land assembly brokerage for urban, infill residential sites. The company’s principals have 30 years of experience leading projects through concept, design, contract negotiations, due diligence, financial analyses and construction completion.
 
The company’s primary activity is the development of  for-sale residential communities on previously developed urban sites.   These sites  are typically less than two acres and abut activity centers, and are often situated in historic communities.   Our projects seek to enhance existing neighborhoods with appropriately positioned developments that consider the economic and environmental confines of each project.

We are committed to pursuing projects that balance social, environmental and economic aspects of our community. TDC has been an integral part of the urban renaissance that is transforming Charlotte’s urban communities such as Commonwealth/Morningside, First Ward (uptown), Greenville, Plaza-Midwood, The Arts District (NODA), Wesley Heights, and Wilmore.
